Vikki's Notes: This recipe has been difficult to write down, as I usually don't measure the ingredients. You can't really mess this up though.
1 lb. Chicken, cooked and cut into chunks (Add more chicken if you prefer)
1 Tbsp. Olive or Vegetable Oil
2 stalks of celery, sliced
1 onion chopped
1 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
Soy Sauce (About 2 Tbsp.)
1 tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 Pkg Hoo Mee Chow Mein Mix (Hoo Mee? Yeah You!)
Cook chicken and cut into chunks.
Saute celery and onion in oil until softened.
Add chicken.
Stir in chicken broth, Kitchen bouquet, soy sauce, sugar, garlic powder. Cook for about 5 min.
In the meantime, take the gravy packet inside the Hoo Mee Chow Mein Box and mix with 1 1/2 cups warm water.
Bring the pan with the chicken to a rapid boil. Add the gravy mixture and boil until thickened.
Serve over chow mein noodles.
