Ingredients
- 1 can beer
- 1 lb. chopped clams(get at seafood deli)
- 1 lb. chourico or linguica, sliced
- 1 lb. hot dogs sliced (I use a little less than a lb.)
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. chopped garlic
- 10 link sausages (boil in water, reserve 1 &1/2 C. of the water you cooked sauages in)
- 2 Tbs. olive oil
- 2-3 Tbs. wet crushed red pepper
- 3 bottles clam juice
- 3 C. water
- 4-5 lg. potatoes, peeled and cubed
- pepper
- salt
Directions
Saute onion in
olive oil until tender, add garlic, chourico, crushed pepper, and cook 5 minutes. Add clam juice. Slice the cooked sausages and add to mixture with sausage water. Add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and cook until potatoes are cooked.
Salt and pepper to taste. The liquid should just cover the ingredents.
