Coney Island Sauce for Hot Dogs

1 lb. Hamburger
1 tbsp. minced onion.
2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 cup water
1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
Salt and pepper to taste.

Cook beef and drain fat. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 15-20 minutes. Puree for short time in food processor (15-20 seconds to get a finer grind).
