
1 tbsp. margarine
1 onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 roll Jimmy Dean Sausage
2 small cans minced clams
1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. Bell's seasoning
Crushed Red Pepper (Gouveias or Star Brand--Imported from Portugal)
Chicken broth
1 pkg. Arnold Stuffing / bread cubes
Salt
1 tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
Saute onion, celery and green pepper until soft. Add sausage and cook. Add clams with the juice, poultry seasoning, Bell's seasoning, parsley, oregano, basil. Add salt and 1-2 tablespoons of the crushed red pepper to taste. Be careful. This gets hotter as it simmers. Add some chicken broth if there isn't enough liquid to cover vegetables and sausage. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
Slowly add some of the stuffing cubes and stir. Add chicken broth as needed to keep from being dry.
